To support new and aspiring COOs with transformative long-term plans, IIM Kozhikode has launched its Chief Operations Officer (COO) Programme. Designed for seasoned operations and supply chain leaders, the programme will equip you with technology and data driven strategic mindset to enable customer-centric value creation and achieve strategic operational excellence. You will hone your financial acumen, C-suite leadership quotient, executive presence, capabilities to spearhead transformation and change management. Participants will also gain a global edge with two online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education.

The duration for modules by IIMK and Kellogg Executive Education is tentative. The actual calendar time may be more or less by a few weeks depending on the number of topics covered during on-campus immersion and other variables like breaks provided/not provided.

Eligibility: Graduate (10+2+3) or Diploma holders (Only 10+2+3) from a recognized University with minimum 10 Years of experience (after graduation) as on 29th December, 2024. Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their graduation.

The primary mode of learning for this programme is via live online sessions with IIM Kozhikode faculty members.
The recording of the live sessions will be made available to the participants until the completion of the programme
The programme curriculum includes individual class readings, assignments, quizzes, two business simulations, case study discussions, guided capstone project, leadership workshops, and much more to apply and demonstrate classroom learning.

The online certificate courses by Kellogg Executive Education would primarily include pre-recorded video lectures by Kellogg faculty.
The participants would be enrolled into global cohorts of Kellogg Executive Education.
There would be weekly live sessions by Programme Leader where participants can interact with global peers.
The programme curriculum would include assignments, real-world use-cases and frameworks, discussions, quizzes, recorded faculty lectures, live doubt solving sessions, and much more to apply and demonstrate classroom learning.

During the modules by IIMK, various simulation exercises would be carried out. This would help in providing a more practice-oriented learning to the participants. Simulations chosen may include module-based simulations and integrated simulations (during the on-campus module, towards the end of the program). This would expose the participants as to how operations connect to the overall business goals and can make a significant difference in the business outcome.

Participants will be awarded a completion certificate from IIM Kozhikode on successfully completing all evaluation components including a capstone project and maintaining a minimum attendance of 75%. Participants who are unable to clear all evaluation components but have a minimum attendance of 75% shall be awarded a participation certificate.
